Considering the level of unreliability of some internet service providers in Nigeria today the sheer speed experienced with the MTN 3G data service was a welcome development but as days turned to weeks and weeks are gradually turning to the first month the service seems poised to replicate the same issues most of the ISPs faced with increased subscribers that led to poor or limited bandwidth provisioning leading to slower speeds and dissatisfied subscribers. ...more

One would have expected an unprecedented increase in the activities of the banks after the recapitalization excercise as regards making a reasonable impact in the economy especially where it concerns the small and medium scale enterprises but it seems that some of them bankers are just realizing that banking does not begin and end with corporate customers or accounts. ...more

Quite a number of ISPs in Nigeria in reality do not have any business offering internet services to Nigerians as the quality of service is poor and advertised bandwidth is extremely different from the actual bandwidth these ISPs provide to Nigerians. ...more
